Refunds & Cancellations


UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 and the restrictive measures imposed because of it, courier companies have been faced with an unprecedented volume of shipments.Our store dispatches all orders within the timeframe foreseen (1 to 3 working days), however there are delays in ELTA-COURIER’s deliveries, which in some cases, depending on the region, are significant. We are in daily contact with ELTA-COURIER, which is making every effort to be able to meet its obligations, even with the delays involved.Thank you for your understanding and patience in this difficult situation that we are all going through.

If after receiving your order you wish to return a product, the company follows a uniform policy regarding the return of products sold through its website which is in accordance with European and Greek consumer protection legislation. According to this policy you can return the product within (14) fourteen calendar days from the receipt of the product as shown by the statements of the shipping company from which you received it. The product to be returned must be in perfect condition and in undamaged packaging with their company tags and marks and must not have been used, washed, etc. In this case, after informing us, we organize the return of the product with one of the courier companies we work with or you take care of the return yourself.

The return address of the product is indicated on the makesportsbetter.com label of the parcel you received.

In case of a change of the product due to size, we will arrange the change and you will only be charged 7 euros for the transport costs of the change. In case you want to change the product with another one of a different type and model, you will be fully responsible for the shipping costs of 7 euros.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS


Every product that leaves Makesportsbetter stores is checked to be in perfect condition, which is defined by each manufacturer. We do our best to provide the best possible service to each individual customer, however in the rare case of a defective product each customer of Makesportsbetter and Makesportsbetter.com stores will need to follow the steps below to return the product to our headquarters for a determination by the appropriate product manufacturer.

Products that are deemed defective and are in their original condition, not washed or altered in any way. Also, these products must have their tags if they are clothing and/or shoes and their original packaging as well as the original markings on the products, all of which will be sent to our headquarters after contacting our store. Only products that are unsuitable to be worn or used for their intended purpose are considered defective, and in no case products that deviate from the photos posted on our website due to expected differences in their downloading and posting. In any case where a defect is found, the recipient/customer has the possibility to contact the online store by e-mail at makesportsbetter@gmail.com or by telephone at 2310429149. If a product is declared as defective by the recipient/customer, we expressly reserve the right to have it checked by the competent manufacturer’s company. Makesportsbetter is a commercial enterprise and is not responsible for the manufacture and design of the products it sells, for which products the branded manufacturer companies with which it cooperates are responsible. Returns of products are made only on proven defective products for which the same product manufacturing company decides and in no case can Makesportsbetter and the online store Makesportsbetter.com be held responsible for the decision of a product defect.

For returns of defective products are required without exception:


The proof of purchase of the product
The photograph and/or deposit of the product in our store so that it can be sent to their manufacturing company
Any return of any defective product to our headquarters in order to be sent to their manufacturing company will be at the customer’s expense to the amount of 3.5 euros. In the event that the company decides that it was a defective product, the costs of sending the product to the customer will be credited.
Approximately 1 month to reach a conclusion on the product
If the product is found by the manufacturing company to be defective, it will be replaced with another product available from the company and sent to the customer without any charge.
No refunds or credit cards will be issued

Changes to racing swimwear of any brand purchased either through our eshop or through our store are not allowed. The no return policy on racing swimwear is in the interest of respect and honesty to the swimmer customer who wishes to purchase a new untested racing swimsuit. If a racing swimsuit is worn or tried on even once, even out of the water, it is considered ῾worn῾ and that it has already taken on the body shape of the swimmer or swimmer who tried it on. Also a tried and tested swimsuit is not changed for hygiene reasons. Because of their specialised use, the maximum compression, buoyancy and blood circulation that they are designed to provide to the swimmer and their high cost, we believe that the swimmer or swimmer should buy them in perfect unused condition.

If you return the product due to a defect and if it is deemed defective by the manufacturer and by makesporstbetter.com then either a product of equal value will be sent to you as a replacement or you will receive a special card with a credit for your next purchase. The defective product is subject to any warranty of the company that produced it and the responsibility of repair and/or replacement rests entirely with them. In the event of returning a product for any other reason, the responsibility of returning the product and shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

No refund will be made for any product if it has been used or its packaging has been tampered with in any way.
